Inspired by "The Crystal Ball"
by J.W. Waterhouse 1902

This is the first piece of the series, Aurora is the Roman Goddess who renews herself every morning and fly's across the sky (announcing the coming of the sun). Aurora is also Latin for Dawn.

The oranges and reds in her dress really pop and the book on the table in front of her features corded glass on the edges of the pages so that it really looks like a book.

This is the second piece of the series, Iris is the Greek Goddess who travels throughout all the realms of the Gods and is linked to the rainbow. She is sometimes know as the messenger of the Gods.

This is the third piece of the series, the 3 Zarya's are the guardian goddesses in Slavic Mythology. 

She closes the gates of heaven each night as the sun returns home.

As we were building this beautiful piece, Jeanne mentioned that when you get it right, you just can't quit smiling as you build a great window. The background glass is a clear that has swirls a movement throughout the glass.

This is the fourth piece of the new series, Selene is the Greek Goddess of the moon. She represents not only a goddess, but the moon itself.

When we completed the face to be added to the panel, the pupils were open and Jeanne felt that she had a vacant look, so we filled in the centers of the eyes, which gives her a very thoughtful look.
