"The Woman At The Well" (click here for more)

This piece has a great deal of symbolism attached to it. The color of the glass changes subtlety throughout the day. At times, when there is little light coming through the piece, the landscape seems very dreary, but the woman seems to glow, because she is about to meet the Savior. When the light gets more brilliant, the landscape brightens and the woman shines, having met the Savior and having been taught about Living Water.

With the changing of the colors of the glass throughout the day, the observer is inspired and lifted. On the most cloudy days, the window seems to glow with a radiance that signifies hope and happiness.

The Woman at the well recognized Christ's divinity and chose to follow him.

The piece measures 18" wide by 30" tall. It comes with a ring at each of the two top corners for hanging.

Item Name: Woman At The Well

"Hour Of Peace And Rest" (click here for more)

A Young Woman is shown, looking to the heavens and communing with the Lord during her Hour of Peace and Rest.

She is shown in a natural setting, sitting on a rock in a mountainous countryside. She enjoys both the natural gifts given freely to all from God, but also the gift of the spirit which communicates to her and lets her know that God knows her and her life has purpose.

She studies to learn and she prays both for wisdom and more knowledge.

The piece measures 18" wide by 30" tall. It comes with a ring at each of the two top corners for hanging.

Item Name: Hour Of Peace And Rest
Price: $2460.00

Inspired by the 1903 painting
-Boreas-
(north wind in Greek mythology)
 by John William Waterhouse.

Value associated with this work is "Individual Worth."

"Shelter From The Storm" (click here for more)

In wind-blown clothing of slate and blue, a girl wraps herself and tries to shelter herself from the winds that threaten to blow her away.

She is bombarded by the winds which blow to and fro, tossed about by every wind of doctrine.

She could represent Mother Eve being driven from the garden. Of course, Eve probably didn't wear printed cloth, but the "feel" of battling against the elements seems appropriate for the feeling that Eve must have felt, being driven from her first home.

The piece measures 18" wide by 30" tall. It comes with a ring at each of the two top corners for hanging.

Item Name: Shelter From The Storm
Price: $5895.00

Inspired by a Magazine Cover for the August 1900 issue of "L'ermitage"
by Paul Berthon

Value associated with this work is "Integrity."

"For Such A Time As This" (click here for more)
           -Queen Ester

Queen Ester was a great woman who was in a position to do a lot of good because of the times and of her great courage. The finished piece is majestic, her robes regal, her jeweled finery and even her hands add to the feminine look of a courageous woman.

She communes with God in the garden which she inherited from Queen Vashti. Her fingers stretch forth in regal elegance as she contemplates her people and what can be done for them.

The piece measures 18" wide by 30" tall. It comes with a ring at each of the two top corners for hanging.

Item Name: Queen Ester
Price: $2085.00

Inspired by a study that illustrator Alphonse Mucha did sometime around 1902.

Value associated with this work is "Faith."

"A Wealth Of Abundance" (click here for more)

The Pioneer Woman is a symbol of strength and faith. She strives to exercise her faith in God and works all the day long to bring forth his work. Her lot is not an easy one. In this piece, we can see the woman harvesting blessings, not from the ground, but from the heavens.

Blessings pour from up above as well as the ground below, not riches, not gold, but that which sustains life and brings sweetness to the living. She exercises faith in God, even when crops fail and things go wrong and is rewarded with the blessings of heaven.

The piece measures 18" wide by 30" tall. It comes with a ring at each of the two top corners for hanging.

Item Name: Abundance
Price: $4050.00

Inspired by The 1909 painting
-Gather Ye Rosebuds While Ye May- by John William Waterhouse

Value associated with this work is "Good Works."

"Whither Thou Goest" (click here for more)
           -Ruth and Namoi

This scene is all about friendship. Ruth and Naomi were close enough that even though the man who was Ruth's husband and Namoi's son had died, they cared enough for one another to stay together.

The two women are shown close to each other in this scene to further stress how closely they were tied to one another in the bonds of friendship and faith.

They are shown gleaning the fields that they might have enough to sustain themselves. They are not asking for a handout, instead they are willing to work to care for themselves.

The piece measures 18" wide by 30" tall. It comes with a ring at each of the two top corners for hanging.

Item Name: Ruth
Price: $4440.00

Inspired by Sistine Madonna,
by Raphael, 1512

Value associated with this work is "Divine Nature."

"Blessed Art Thou Among Women" (click here for more)
       -Mary

We cherish Mary as the mother of Christ and yet sometimes forget that she was raising a toddler who needed to be guided and taught, just like other children.

This scene reminds us that she was a young mother who worked hard to teach her little boy of his divine nature and the beauty of the world that God had created for him.

"And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him."
                                    Luke 2:40

The piece measures 18" wide by 30" tall. It comes with a ring at each of the two top corners for hanging. It's by far the most complex to build properly because it has two detailed faces, but it's also the lowest price in the series. Mary's robes are regal with the deep blue, the royal red and the golden ornamentation.

Item Name: Mary
Price: $2085.00

Value associated with this work is "Virtue."

"Gothic Angel Of Virtue" (click here for more)

We needed a woman of virtue and find that the best example of that value would be an angel. We've been thinking of angels a bit lately and we intend to do a series of angel panels, so this will be a crossover from one series to the next.

Her look and feel are very historic, it's as if we could be looking at a window in an old cathedral or a totem in a garden standing watch against evil and praying for those in the home in the distance.

She is our ideal, a goal we hope for, to remain unspotted from the world. Yet standing to serve and ease the burdens of others.

ignore the following its just a placeholder till we get her ready for sale
Item Name: Mary
