These 12 point starts are twice the size of the ones
we normally build. We had to use great caution when building them so that
they would be very straight and sturdy.
The size makes every flaw show up, and because they are bigger, when you hold them at a point, the weight and the leverage on the point makes them more fragile than the smaller stars. |

Each of the stars has the name of the company who
donated to the Covey Center For The Arts in 2009.
We sandblasted the names into the glass after hand cutting the design. |
|
|
Merit Medical has a nice logo, but their was only room for logo and Merit or the whole name and no logo. |
|
|
The Check City logo turned out well. We only had to cut it out twice to get it right. |
