To go with the theme of "How Artists Celebrate the Season" which was the subject of the 2008 December Art Show at the Covey center for the arts, we were inspired by the Art Nouveau Stained Glass in the North Pole from the movie, The Santa Claus Two.

We had to finish the window in record time, this is what it looked like one week before the show opened. A lot to finish!

As we raced to get the window done, we each put in over 12 hours per day, but it was exhilarating to be working so hard on such a great piece!

As we started to solder the window, we thought we may meet our deadline!

On Friday, the day of the opening, we loaded the glass onto our trailer and delivered it to the Covey Center For The Arts.

We had plenty of time to hang the window, before going home and getting ready for the reception.

I don't know what all the fuss was about, the window was done minutes before the show was to start! True, we did put in a total 168 hours of work on the window, but our fingers weren't too sore and we hadn't had any setbacks.

After all, we build stained glass because it's fun to create beautiful works and this is sure a beautiful work!
