One of the double sliding doors was left open to show the room behind the door. On the right are two detail shots of the art glass. Each piece of art glass was made of individual diamond pieces with heavy foil on each and a "coin" soldered over each joint on each side of the panel. The diamonds were cut out of artique glass so it has that old fashioned ripple look and the outside border is made of corded glass. Each panel is sandwiched in between tempered glass. Not strictly necessary to meet code in this application, but we felt it best to be on the safe side. Candice Frioux of Maison Design was the designer on this project.
