When the studio that Jeanne goes to for yoga changed their name and logo, we had to be a part of it. Jeanne took the design and created a stained glass piece.
   

When Jeanne first attempted the mandala for Bodi Yoga, (the Darma Wheel), she fused the entire piece in the kiln. Unfortunately, we had the kiln set for the cycle we go through with small pieces. With the larger piece, we got many cracks.

So she re-cut the panel, fused some of the pieces and assembled the rest using traditional copper foil and soldering.

She's holding the completed wheel and the first one with it's flaws is hanging on the wall behind her.

Here's a good shot with sunlight shining through the piece.

Here it is in more subdued light in the yoga studio.

And here the quality of light has changed and the golds and yellows in the piece stand out more.

 The look of the wheel keeps changing.

And in this close up, you can see that the purple dots were fused on the white and the red cones were also fused onto white.

And here's the finished piece, with Jeanne's favorite yoga instructor, Syl Carson, holding it in front of a mural of the same mandala. They were called White Mountain Yoga before the change to Bodi Yoga, you can learn more about them by clicking here.
