We built some very large panels for Dave Gardner's office building. The conference room is an Art Nuevo design based on a 1920's design on the elevator doors of the Chrysler Building in New York City. The other doors were in the Prairie style of the same era.

Even when we were working on these beautiful windows, we knew that they were going to be something special.

This sidelight was installed by some of our friends at Glass Doctor. We were happy to have the install help because this single panel is one of the heaviest panels we've built. It was 34" x 90", that just under 3 feet by 7-1/2 feet. The extra glass on each side of the glass really increased the weight of the panel.

Not only was it big, it was heavy, with 3/16 tempered glass on either side of it. It's Art Nuevo design was based on a 1920's design on the elevator doors of the Chrysler Building in New York City. 

Here is Jeanne, in a rather giddy mood, standing in front of the front entry. She had a hard time containing her joy at finally seeing these beautiful works of art in place. 

Here is a view of the transom that went over the front door. It was a joy to work on these great pieces.

One door was an oak, mission style that we built a simple panel for, which matched the doors with the full sized glass. Glass Doctor did a great job on the install. It was like magic, we hired them and the glass just went in without a hitch.
