Jeanne has designed seven different panels for her "Women Of Faith" series. Each one is based on a famous scene from paintings and photographs that inspire and demonstrate the value and worth of women throughout history.
   
   

We had to put the panel in our front window to get a good look at it once it was complete. It was a thrill to see that the deep reds and rich golds we had laid out had worked so well.

We had to go very minimal on the lines of the two faces and worried that they wouldn't be real enough, but the longer I look at them, the more I like them.

We cherish Mary as the mother of Christ and yet sometimes forget that she was raising a toddler who needed to be guided and taught, just like other children.

This scene reminds us that she was a young mother who worked hard to teach her little boy of his divine nature and the beauty of the world that God had created for him.

"And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him."
                                    Luke 2:40

The piece measures 18" wide by 30" tall. It comes with a ring at each of the two top corners for hanging. It's by far the most complex to build properly because it has two detailed faces, but it's also the lowest price in the series. Mary's robes are regal with the deep blue, the royal red and the golden ornamentation.
