Reflective Opposition shows a scene of two women in 1800's garb contemplating life's good and bad, yin and yang, opposition in all things.

"Reflective Opposition" is a work that we finished in October in time for the Springville Art Museum "Faith In Art" exhibit. We built it for Lynde Mott, our friend who is an historical LDS illustrator and painter. She drew a preliminary sketch, David took it and refined in on AutoCAD. Then Lynde refined the design and David made those changes and made the pattern fit the openings of the windows the two panels are to go in.

Here is the "cool" side of the window in progress.

Above are several photos from the exhibit and below are the installed panels in the Mott residence.

The reflection on the floor of the window is impressive. The owner says her boys like to lie on the floor, bathed in the glow of the windows.

The pictures below are close-ups of the sandblasted work of the woman's face and sleeve.
