Custom Stained Glass Folk Angel with Lacy Ribbons that were very difficult to cut out.

FOLK ANGEL |
|
Sometimes we find glass designs that make the space feel happy, sometimes it feels warm and
sometimes a piece of glass can give the viewer a focal point to create an attitude of contemplation,
such as in a library or study.
There is something about this folk angel design that creates a real inspirational spirit when one spends time looking at it, enjoying the flowing lines, the oval, and the ribbons. We took a picture of it to create this years Christmas card. |

| This was a hard piece to photograph, if we got the vivid colors, you couldn't see the great texture in the clear glass. In the pictures where you could see the textures, the colors looked very dark. |
|
|
| Here is a detail of the angel, the colors look pretty good, but you can't see the great copper patina on the solder joints. They glisten! They almost look gold. |
|
|
| She's a joy to look at, but oh were those wings difficult to cut out. Talk about hours of glass grinding. In this shot you can see the color variations in her wings. This window panel measures 12" X 36". |
