Susan Nicholes is our group organizer who plans activities for us outside of classes. She teaches piano lessons in her home, has written a cookbook and is working on another. She has filled her home with stained glass works, many based on historical pieces she has seen throughout the state. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| The bathroom window is made with "Fractures and Streamers" glass, which is very difficult to cut. Her front door design is based on a historical piece of glass Susan saw in one of the old buildings at Lagoon. | |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Her two kitchen doors were designed to look similar to the glass in the Assembly Hall on Temple Square. Her plate window has seven antique plates incorporated in the design. | |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Susan is close to having a full set of the quilt blocks for her home. | |
