Student Work - 2006 work - many of the pieces seen
here were designed by Jeanne and the student who built it. |
| Pat finished her celtic knot inspired arch in December in time for Christmas. It is a very precise and lovely piece. |
| Davey was taking a class at BYU where they had to do something that challenged them and report to the class. He choose to do a stained glass panel for the requirements of the class. I hope he got an "A". |
| Carol wanted to take classes for quite awhile and when she did, she built this Susan's Seven design. She spent a great deal of time choosing her colors carefully and really enjoyed looking at the different patterns we have. |
| Robb came to class for three days in a row and is a natural. He works with stones and his ability to grind, shape and polish really let him make some great work in a short time. He made two panels in the three days of class. |
| Natalie finished this original design in record time, and she says she's going to keep this one! |
| Anna finished her "Blackbird" panel in no time. From the moment she got the pattern, it was a week before she was soldering. Very good design and we enjoyed meeting her daughter who loves music. |
| Jessica started coming with Staci (they work together) and she used care in building her first panel, which turned out well. |
| Staci finished her Starry Night panel and it is a work of art! |
| Natalie says this original design should remind one of the BMW logo. |
| Staci created a unique flag by applying the deer and flower to the surface of the panel. |
| Anna broke all speed records building her own copy of The Woman At The Well. |
| In August, Staci finished a huge window that she is going to ship to Texas for her Mother. |
| Pat Martinez choose very eclectic colors for her first piece. She enjoyed the challenge of finding pieces that fit together out of the scrap boxes. |
| We keep thinking Anna Trevino must have had classes somewhere else because she needs very little help and instruction. Here is her first panel. Quite a feat for a first time piece. |
| Cheryl Larson choice to design her own pattern for her first project and selected very vibrant colors in a rather mission style design. |
| A young Women Activity resulted in some nice pieces |
| In June, Staci Broadrick finished s beveled panel, which just made her want to create more glass. |
| In May, Joyce Norell finished her May quilt block pattern, which turned out very well. She choose vibrant colors which really worked well together. |
| Lynde has built several pieces. She built a total of four of this design to go in the top of four windows in her home. The room they are going in is an art project, which features a four wall mural she is painting of the Nauvoo of the 1800's. |
| Cheryl Miller was a lot of fun to have in class and she made a beautiful piece. |
| Jason Reading is an excellent woodworker who has now learned to build glass pieces which he will be able to use in his wood projects. The amber panel is one of four to go in a piece of furniture. |
| In March, Summer convinced us that she is going to be a great artist when she completed the original border she came up with for her August Panel. |
| Lurain Lyman came to class at the same time as the Tiedeman's and I think she really enjoyed their company. |
| Here, Marylou works on her panel. |
| Jeff and Marylou Tiedeman started taking classes in January and Jeff finished his first panel at months end. |
