Student Work - 2009 work - many of the pieces seen
here were designed by Jeanne and the student who built it. |
| Matt built this original stained glass panel as an independent art demonstration for his certificate of graduation as a stringed instrument builder. He'll graduate in May. |
| Ahna and Clint came to class together. Anna finished her first panel right away. |
| While Clint took get care and effort to meticulously build his cardinal window. |
| Meanwhile, Ahna built a second panel during her classes. |
| Ruth finished her tulip panel in short order and now is drawing designs for original designs to fit in arched transoms in her home. |
| Alisha liked Jeanne's Tree of Life design, which will be in the Mandala book. So she built it as her first project. |
| Her husband, Jaren figured he would follow suit, but varied the colors. |
| Dawsha built a tulip panel in May as her first project. Then, in two very long days, she build her second project, a transom with a knight in the middle. We need a photo of it. |
| Kristen's first project went together quite quickly, a truck for their son's room. |
| Her husband, Ty, was just steps behind her with his tractor panel, complete with John Deere colors. |
| Amber has become shy, but she did let us take pictures of these twin beauties, original designs using different colors. |
| Madalyne had to do a leaded project for class and came to use our tools to complete it at the end of the semester. Now, she and Jeanne are both convinced that copper foil is the better construction method. |
| Ruth has three pairs of transom windows that she promises she'll furnish pictures of. In the meantime, we'll settle for a picture of one of them in progress. |
| Dawsh's second window was a large transom that featured a knight in the center. Quite an ambitious second project! |
| Kristen felt she was up for a 3D piece and she made this beautiful jewelry box in no time. |
| Laura's first panel was a craftsman inspired design that Jeanne created. The colors are just stunning. |
| Chris finished his lamp shade after many months of labor. It was quite a thrill to get it completed. |
| Erin and Shannon are sisters who both finished their Christmas tree panels at the same time. |
| Tim finished his first panel just before his mom finished hers. He's very good at cutting and fitting the glass because he was willing to take the time to do it right. |
| Linda finished right after Tim did. Her panel is so colorful, it's just a work of art! |
| Ruth sent a picture of one of her installed transom windows To go with the picture we have working on some of them. |
| Shannon finished a picture frame. |
| Erin finished a picture frame and then made a fused piece. |
| Laura finished her mission style panel for her home. She'll now be returning home at the end of the summer to build glass in Wyoming! |
| Lexie and her sister are daughters of Ruth Pickett, who came to build some beautiful windows. If you send me an e-mail, to tell me who is who, I'll update this picture. |
| Sheila built one of the mandala windows that Jeanne has designed for her mandala book. |
| Bear and Amber finished their fantasy window. You'll be able to see it at our art show in December. |
| On a different day, Bear finished a picture frame. Very cool sandblasting was done to embellish it. |
| Linda finished a small hanging piece while Tim continues work on a dragon panel. |
| And Linda finished a cool holiday star. |
| Bear and Amber brought Ebben to class the other evening. They were just visiting and Ebben wasn't ready to do a project. |
| Tim finished his Red Dragon window. He really has a talent with stained glass. His color choices are personal and unique and they look great in the finished project. |
| Kristen finished the three light house panel she's been working on. The colors and design make a very satisfying panel. |
